Secure Connection shortcut [MOVED]

How do i create a shortcut for Secure Connection on my desktop? I could not locate the 'Kaspersky Secure Connection 3.0' folder in C:\Program Files(x86)\Kaspersky Lab for the ksdeui.exe file, even with 'Hidden Items' option checked.
Win 10 64-bit.

Hello Arvipat,
Thanks for posting back:
The following is the information for Dropbox. The method is similar for all cloud storage:

  1. When the GSI.zip folder and Windows logs are in the Cloud storage:
  2. Hover your cursor over the file or folder you'd like to share.
  3. Click (the word) Share when it appears.in the list presentted.
  4. Click Create a link..
  5. The link will be copied to your clipboard.
  6. Paste the link back here in your post https://community.kaspersky.com/kaspersky-secure-connection-17/secure-connection-shortcut-moved-1522#post7288
Thank you.

Was KSC installed at the same time as KIS?
Please let us know?
Thank you?
KSC is installed as part of KIS 2019 (More Tools - My Network - Secure Connection).

@arvipat create a shortcut to the file "C:\Program Files (x86)\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Secure Connection 2.0\ksdeui.exe"
  1. 'Kaspersky Secure Connection 2.0' folder does not exist in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Kaspersky Lab".
  2. https://www.dropbox.com/s/3z45oqvldxnb59r/Screenshot%20%28123%29.png?dl=0

@arvipat Remove Kaspersky Secure Connection and reinstall KIS 19
KSC has not been installed as a standalone app - it is a part of the KIS 2019 app.

Hi arvipat,

have you tried reinstalling Secure Connection?
You can find the download here: https://www.kaspersky.com/downloads/thank-you/free-vpn-secure-connection-pc

Maybe this will fix your problem.
Thanks, sure will attempt this and update on this forum.

Hello Arvipat,
Adding on to the info from Kmscom & Schulte:

After you followed the correct software uninstall/reinstall procedures and fixed the issue, a very handy, safe utility is:

ShortcutsMan (current version is v1.10):
ShortcutsMan displays the details about all shortcuts that you have on your desktop and under your start menu. Broken shortcuts (shortcuts that point to file that doesn't exist) are automatically painted with pink color. You select one or more shortcuts, and then delete them, resolve them or save the shortcut's details to HTML/Text/XML file.

Thanks for the tip, FLOOD.

You're very welcome Arvipat!
Let us know what happens after the unistall/reinstall please?
Best regards!
Thanks kmscom, Schulte, FLOOD - you guys made my day. KSC uninstall, followed by KIS 2019 uninstall-reinstall worked like a charm.

😁Good work Arviptat,
Oftentimes a full software removal, reboot, reinstall, reboot is an effective proccess to follow.
We're delighted.
Thankyou for letting us know👍!
