Cannot connect to NAS whilst using VPN

I cannot connect to my local NAS drive or other shared folders whilst Kaspersky VPN is enabled. Any ideas on how to fix this? I dont really want to toggle the VPN on and off when I want to access files on the local network.

@dplloyd1987 Welcome. I think you will have to modify some network settings on your NAS station, similar issues are available on the WEB related with e.g. Synology NAS stations.
