Reducing the number of devices on licence when renewal is due

I am due to renew my licence for 3 devices, one of which is now dead. I therefore want to change the licence to 2 devices. Does anyone know how to do this?
For instance can it only be done at the time of renewal, which is probably automatic and therefore I am not sure how to change it.
Please advise if anyone else has done this.

  • Re "renewal - probably automatic", if, when the original licence was purchased, the "Auto Renewal" option was selected, then, unless this is changed, it will auto-renew, however, this can easily be changed by contacting Kaspersky Technical Support:
  • Sign into your online MyKaspersky account https://my.kaspersky.com/, go to https://my.kaspersky.com/techsupport#/requests/new, create a request detailing your concerns, this will log a incident in Kaspersky's system, you will receive an automatic email with an incident number INC+12 numbers, e.g. INC123456789111. If the incident is created during business hours a human should contact you with 24 to 48 hours.
  • Your requirement/s can be logged at any time, you don't need to wait for the licence renewal period to eventuate if you have "change" requirements, it's better and easier to make them known to Kaspersky in advance, rather than sort things out after the event.
  • Regarding your wish to purchase a licence for 2 devices - some of Kaspersky's products are region/loaction specific. As we don't know your your location, I've checked USA, UK, & AUS:
