With Windows killing support on Windows 7 and Windows 10 being a security nightmare, I am thinking of changing to a Linux distro. While I be able to use Total Security in that case? ANy other security/ virus solution come to mind?

I've just done the same, Tom. Migrated my Windows 7 to Ubuntu only to find out that my Kaspersky Total Security is not compatible...well, at least my wife's laptop and our android phones are covered...Bizarre that Kaspersky doesn't support Linux????
Hello @guypringle,
Welcome!
Regarding (your) KTS and operating system compatibility:
On the android, even tho the license is Kaspersky Total Security, the actual software installed is Kaspersky Internet Security.
There is no KTS for Android, MacOS & iOS - only KIS.
Ditto for Kaspersky Cloud Security, consumers buy, thinking KSCloud will be installed, not so, KIS is the ONLY software that's always installed.
🤔
Best regards.

Welcome. While we don't discuss non-Kaspersky products on this forum, there are Business Linux solutions from Kaspersky. I am not sure about Kaspersky for Home User Linux distro. Last I heard was no.

For Home User products, please see: https://usa.kaspersky.com/home-security
