Cannot get rid of error message "To manage your device remotely, connect to My Kaspersky"

Actually, I had already attempted to get rid of the error message using the procedure outlined in the link; however, it would not clear the error message. Finally, I activated the "Anti-Theft" feature which requires you to login. Once I logged in and activate the "Anti-Theft" feature, the error message was cleared. Go figure!
