Cannot connect to Plex Remote access with Kaspersky total Security enabled

I am running Plex server version 1.21.3.4021 on a Mac Pro, running OSX 10.15.7.

 

Everything is accessible OK with Total Security deactivated, however when I activate Total Security I am unable to access my plex server content remotely, even though (according to Plex) remote access is active and fully accessible outside of my network.

I cannot find any way to review or update kaspersky firewall settings.

 

Can anyone help?

Apologies for the delay responding to your query:disappointed_relieved:

  1. A Kaspersky Total Security software license, installs Kaspersky Internet Security (KIS) software, on a MAC, there are KTS features (on Windows), that are not available for MAC. 
  2. Kaspersky Internet Security(KIS) for MAC, does not have a Firewall. 
  3. Are there any Plex errors showing in the KIS Reports
  4. Log a request with Kaspersky Technical Support, follow the template image as a guide,  include a detailed history & all recovery steps taken; Support may request Traces, a System Report & Logs, they will guide you: 

 

 

  • After submitting the case, you’ll receive an automated email with an INC+12digits reference number, then, normally, within 5 business days, a Kaspersky Technical Support human will be in touch, also by email, you may continue to engage with the Kaspersky Technical Team via email or by updating the INC in your MyKaspersky account.

Please share the outcome with the Community, when it’s available?
