I’m using “Kaspersky Safe Kids” (in combination with Microsoft family...) to protect and control my kid, who is using his own PC with Windows 10 Pro.
He uses this PC both for playing and for studying.
I naturally try to set a hard limit for playing, but allow more time to use the PC for education.
And it looks like neither “Kaspersky Safe Kids” nor “Microsoft family” can separate these times effectively:
- Some “Game overlay(s)” are active even when the kid is not actually playing. So time for games ends even without start.
- Time is ticking even when the PC sleeps
- I cannot set different/separate “screen times” for games and for education.
So I came to the idea to create two Windows user accounts for my single kid on the same PC. Each account - for different purposes, with different restrictions / allowed apps…
Q1. Does Kaspersky company or the Community have any recommendations / instructions / successful examples of such configuration?
Q2. What’s about licence in this case, can I still tell that I’m using it for one kid?
