KSK Downloaded Services switches off on reboot of mobile

Hi all,


I bought the premium version of KSK and every time my daughter restarts her android mobile, it sets the KSK downloaded services item to OFF. This means the app simply doesn’t work unless I go and turn it on myself. 


Is there a way to force it to start? Without this working I’m worried she’ll just restart her phone to get around it.

  1. Android brand name & OS version - open phone Settings:gear: , scroll to the bottom of the screen, select About or About phone ?
  2. KSK version - open KSK, scroll down, select About ?
  3. Have all KSK access permissions been granted? 
  4. Is Settings blocked? 
  5. Post an image of “KSK downloaded servicesscreen please

  2. KSK version - open KSK, scroll down, select About ?
  3. Have all KSK access permissions been granted? Display over apps, downloaded services are both set to on
  4. Is Settings blocked? yes, this is blocked by KSK 
  5. Post an image of “KSK downloaded services” screen please? Yes, though I have switched it back on since then.

It would’ve been helpful to know the phone name/brand:thinking:

We have 3 test androids (Samsung & Huawei) 4.4, 7.1.1 & 10, no-where can we find the phone feature: Accessibility → Downloaded services, please do the following: 

Uninstall KSK, at the completion of the uninstall, shutdown the phone, power on, login, download a new KSK installer, install KSK, at the completion of the install, shutdown the phone, power on, login, configure KSK for your child:

:a: Make sure: 

  1. Battery optimization - Off
  2. Battery saver - Disabled
  3. Lock KSK, long-press on KSK from the Overview menu, this will prevent it getting killed by the system 
  4. Developer mode is not activated

:b: If the issue persists, log a case with Kaspersky Technical Support, follow the template below, include: 

  1. What caused the problem?
  2. Did you try to solve the problem? How?
  3. Text from an error message?
  4. Screenshot? 
  5. Video?
  6. Community topic URL? 
  7. Support may request traces, logs & other data, they will guide you


  • After submitting the case, you’ll receive an automated email with an INC+12digits reference number, then, normally, within 5 business days, a Kaspersky Technical Support human will be in touch, also by email, you may continue to engage with the Kaspersky Technical Team via email or by updating the INC in your MyKaspersky account.
