Hello! We’ve been using the free version for a while (and never saw this problem). We purchased the paid version recently, and started seeing this problem (but not suggesting there’s any connection!).

Agreed, we do not believe the issue is related to the Premium subscription.
We’ve never seen this before either, that’s why we suggest a clean install first, if the issue remains unresolved, engage Technical Support.
