Yesterday I logged into this Community with no problem. Today it said my password was wrong and I had to reset it.

This is my third post this week about KIS problems.

Yesterday I logged into this Community with no problem.

Today it said my password was wrong and I had to reset it.

Is this some auto-feature introduced to force new passwords?

Or is there some other reason ?

@rufford155 The only option is “Forgot password”.

Yes, I used “Forgot password”, it was not difficult just a hassle.

What I am asking is - why did I have to do it when there was no problem the previous day?

Check Automatically request password change every 180 days setting in the MyKaspersky account

iirc I had a similar issue in the past having chosen different passwords for this forum and my Kaspersky. try logging in with your my Kaspersky credentials and it should  work.

Flood:- It was NOT set to change every 180 days.

petsy:- Password were the same - and they still are after changing as they demanded.

So the reason is still a puzzle.
