I recently installed Internet Security 2020 on two Windows devices . One Surface tablet and one desktop . both are running Window's 10.  Both devices also rum AVG Internet security and the native Windows security app .

on both devices my wireless connection constantly drops.  I have my wireless networks set to trusted and the internet connection is set to private .

the DptfParticipantWirelessService fails when my connection drops.  Very frustrated and I am about ready to can Kaspersky. event id is 1.

What am I missing?

application log  verbiage:

The description for Event ID 1 from source DptfParticipantWirelessService cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

ServiceStart:  ConnectToDptfFrameworkDriver failed.

Welcome. How many security applications are running? More than one is bad. One is good.

Any better with AVG uninstalled and the native Windows security app disabled?

Just like @richbuff said, If you can delete AVG network filter drivers, I think this behavior will be solved.
