Kaspersky team, please can you scan my website? A grey icon shows up (unknown website) and I prefer a green one :)

Thank you for your answer! I did make that scan, also a week ago. I get the message that the link is safe, but the grey shield stays grey.

Hello  @Poepiesnoepie4,

When you got the msg the link was “safe”, did you do the next step & submit it for analysis by adding your email address & ticking “consent”, to send the link to VLab?

Hi Flood,

Thank you for your answer. The first time (last week) I did not submit it. The second time (an hour ago) I did. Maybe I have to wait till Kaspersky analized it? Do I get a message or something?

A VLab “robot:robot: ” will send an automated email to the email address you entered, advising the link has been submitted for analysis. 

If the Lab finds anything that requires further information, a human will contact you, otherwise, just check the link in a few days. If after 5 days, the link remains grey, raise a case with Kaspersky Technical Support please.

Please follow the advice from @Rodion Nagornov, in this topic  & also submit your url to Kaspersky Virus Lab, including your email address.

Welcome back!

Re “I saw that my case is closed” do you mean your post here in the Community? The Moderators merged your Topic with the master topic “Please Scan My Website. Grey Icon. Unknown website. Verify website. KSN Rating. Add to Safe. [Merge]”, as this is a recurring request, and even tho the master topic has a “Solved” status, that’s actually specific to the first person who raised the topic… It’s a bit confusing… 

Regarding your URL still being grey, have you raised a case with Kaspersky Technical Support, after you login to your my MyKaspersky account, fill in the template at  https://my.kaspersky.com/techsupport#/requests/new  please. 

Here in the Community, we cannot raise a case for you, nor can we actually make your URL shield change from grey to green, the Kaspersky technical team are the only group that can do this.

The issue has been going on for a long time. Strange, you’ve done everything as per process:thinking:

This is what the support said: "I have added your website to the scan queue and it should be given a scan. Since we would get no notification about this, as the process is automated, I would ask you to check the results in 2-3 days, and get back to me if it is still grey, by replying to this email."

I waited too long so the case is closed now, but the problem isn't solved yet. I have to make a new request. I thought, maybe they scanned the wrong site. There are two San Bao acupunctuur practices in Holland. The other is not working under that name anymore but the site still exists and has a green shield.

The support advice:  "I have added your website to the scan queue and it should be given a scan.. etc” 

Is exactly the same as you submitting the site at the Virus Lab, which you’ve now done at least twice

:octagonal_sign: In the new case, add the original INC#, include all of the history, hopefully  they’ll do more this time? :octagonal_sign: :thinking:

When an incident is created with Kaspersky, and incident number is allocated, the number is always INC+12 digits

:question: For (your) previous case, an automated email should have been received with the INC#, did you receive such an email? 

(you) can then communicate with the Lab, via a reply to that email or by logging into your MyKaspersky.com account and managing your INC in the Requests queue.
