KIS2020, My ethernet connection can't set local or trust network.




It blocks file sharing. I have to set packet rules to Allow both on Local Services (UDP) and Local Services (TCP).

Try reinstalling the Kaspersky Internet Security with kavremover: https://support.kaspersky.com/common/uninstall/1464#block2
You can also try reinstalling the network card drivers.

kavremover and fresh install didn't work.
Also uninstall/disable/re-enable/reinstalled the network card driver didn't work too.

Bug happen on my Windows 10 Enterprise.

On windows 7 work normal no problem.

I assume that the problem is not with the version of the operating system, but with the version of the anti-virus software, specifically with 20
Patch C was released. Hope it fix these issue. But how to force update ?
I just known that my win10 using patch (a) which have problem.
my win7 using patch (b) which doesn't have problem.

I have the same problem. I contacted tech support and they told it is a bug of KIS2020 and told me to uninstall it and install version 2019. My question is why this bug exist on version that was tested more then year and released to public. Shame Kaspersky!!!

This bug was submitted by beta testers on EAP portal when 2020 version was beta and it still here with patch C...

I have the same problem when i had KTS 2020 (c) the tech support told me it was a bug and for working around to rollback to KTS 2019. Now, i'm currently using the Kaspersky total 2020 patch (d) but the problem still persists 🤷🏽

Please let them know and do keep us posted please, as this is a known issue, impacting many folks, we're all "ch 🐴mping at the bit"!
& thanks for the screen print, I'm off to 🕵🏽(d)😄!
Also, if you haven't done a FULL shutdown, (after (d) ), do so, before re-escalating to support, sometimes patch updates work "better" after full shutdown etc.

The latest patch of Kaspersky 2019 is (g) not (d). And by the Kaspersky 2019 is working correctly.

I have no issue with Kaspersky 2019, i am currently talking about Kaspersky 2020 (d)
because they told me the Kaspersky 2020 (d) will fix this problem but the problem still persists with the latest patch of Kaspersky 2020 (d).

  • I just had a thought, before re-escalating to Support, try uninstalling KTS2020(d), save License Information only, reboot/full shutdown, restart device, download install KTS2020, reboot/full shutdown, restart device, recheck issue....

Hello @FLOOD n everyone, I have to update you all after doing the reinstalling, I have noticed that i still got KTS 2020 (c) . I have no clue how i even got that patch (d). I apologize for the misunderstanding. 🙏🏼😰

Tech support told me "they will fix it in the upcoming patch "D" for 2020 product line in the mid of October."

I think the current patch 'd' was pushed in unplanned. It fixes another problem.
The solution will most likely come with patch 'e'.
