Kaspersky Internet Security 2020 icon is pulsing.
Can anyone tell me why please ?

In addition - kaspersky scanning on the background your files and also if you run scan (FULL or QUICK) then pulsing or ROOTKIT scan (this runs automatically).

This is because Kaspersky is performing some kind of scan :)

You can disable the pulsating icon by going to Settings → Additional → View and unchecking Use application icon animation in the taskbar notification area checkbox.
