iTunes will Not sync to or recognize iPhone

I understand a very similar question was previously made on this, but I did not find a solution in that thread. I am trying to sync music from iTunes on my PC to my iPhone. I do not know what happened, but iTunes on my Windows 10 PC used to be able to recognize my phone when I plugged it in through an Apple-certified lightning cable. Some time after installing Kaspersky, I started having this problem. I don’t know for certain if it is the fault of Kaspersky. My device is recognized by iTunes on other PC’s and Macs (which also do NOT have Kaspersky).

 

21.2.16.590(b) is my version of Kaspersky Internet Security.

Huge typo in the title - should be “will NOT sync”

 

After speaking to tech support about my particular case, it was concluded that Kaspersky was not responsible for this happening. Unfortunately, Apple was also unable to provide me with any answers. For anyone else who might be having this problem, the best thing you can do short of reformatting is to try to reinstall drivers for the iPhone.
