Hi @52daffodill,

Once enabled (as per Friend response) the rootkit scan runs automatically once a day and after a PC restart. Also it runs as a part of Full Scan/Quick Scan, so if you have executed a Full Scan, there is no need to run rootkit scan additionally.

Regards,

Igor

Hi, @52daffodill ,

The search for rootkits cannot be started manually from the program interface. It starts up automatically. In the settings, it can only be enabled or disabled in the performance section.

You can start searching for rootkits manually via the command prompt:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Internet Security 21.1\avp.exe" start scan_qscan
