how to change KIS setting - it asks for USER/password

When I try and change any setting, it asks me for user name and password, 

Default user is : KLAdmin

so i change it to my kaspersky account login details, it faails.


It used to be easy, on the app, there was a password tab and you set it, in the latest version i cannot find it

Thank you but this does not help, kaspersky used to be simple, this has links to so many passwords i dont know what to do, why on the app is there not a tab to set and then modify the app password used to change setting?

Please follow the easy procedure  provided above under “What to do if the issue persists”

When reinstalling Kaspersky you will have to reactivate your product !

Has the problem been solved?

If not, try these steps.

  1. Download this file https://media.kaspersky.com/utilities/ConsumerUtilities/KLAPR.zip
  2. Unzip it and get a batch file
  3. Go into safe mode and run the batch file as administrator.
