Any way to add right click firewall rules on applications/.exe files? No “add new program rule” function? [Closed]

Hey other Kaspersky users.

Is there any way to add right click firewall rules on applications/.exe files?

And why aren’t all programs showed under Firewall Rules?

Not only that, there is no “add new program rule” function as far as I can see.

Hi @KAsp.USer, welcome to the forum.

Less common programs will not be shown in the rules until they have been started and analyzed for the first time.

But you can also add programs manually:
Open 'Settings->Protection->Application Control->Manage Applications'.
Select the group to which you want to add the program, right-click on it, select 'Add application to group', search and select the appropriate .exe.

Thank you very much.  That did the job !

Could have been cool with an easy “right click on app/exe” to add firewall rules.

This will suffice though, and I’m very pleased nevertheless  :thumbsup_tone1::relaxed:
