Trusted Zone on Server

Hi Community,

we are using KSC10 (10.5.1781) & KSWS (10.1.2.996).

I’ve configured an exception (e.g.: ‘e:\install\’) via trusted zones but files are still getting blocked. Trusted zone is activated in the policy.

KSC says the policy is applied.

Are there any logfiles on the server I can check to verify the exclusion list?

Hello,

The “lock” for the Trusted Zone section is not closed in the policy - hence, the policy settings are not applied to the host and the exclusions you’ve added don’t work.

Hi,

Trusted zone is activated in the policy.

Could you please provide us with an export of that policy?

Sure.

Thank you for that info!

Could you please calrify what files exactly are blocked? Are there any notifications related to that acrion?

Have you tried to specify exlusion as “e:\install\*”?

Yes we tried all possible Wildcards. Even upper- and lowercase. Filename is: “IWSUpdateWatch.exe”  located in a subfolder. I’ve attached a screenshot.

Are there any logs or notifications at KSWS related to this issue?

Thank you

Hello,

That’s it.

I thought it will only “lock” the setting for sub-policies and since there is no subpolicy anymore the settings get applied.

Thank you for assistance.
