Hi there,

I have defined two Security Profiles defined. One is for my workstations, and the other is for my Servers. As my servers are not associated with any particular user, how do I then link a security profile to them?

Thanks

Hi,

Please review:

You can assign a security profile only to users and groups of users. The security profile assigned to the
device owner is applied to the device.

I've found two workaround options for anyone who needs it:

Options 1:
Create a false user. I created "no-user@doesNotExist.com" and then linked it to my server.

Option 2: (more eloquent solution)
An alternative, is let the Servers take the default policy, and assign all the users to the second security profile you make.
