Protection Failed/ Not running [MOVED]

We recently upgraded a user from W7 to W10. We removed the network agent and KES first, did the upgrade then pushed them out gain via Kaspersky Security Center 11. 


Both the agent ( and KES ( AES256) installed with no issues, however KES produces the 2 following issues:


Task Cannot be performed

Event type:     Task cannot be performed
Application\Name:     Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows
Component:     Web Control
Result\Description:     Cannot start task
Object:     Web Control
Object\Type:     Subsystem
Object\Name:     Web Control
Reason:     functionality disabled due to instability


and also


Protection components are disabled

Event type:     Protection components are disabled
Application\Name:     Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows
User:     OURDOMAIN\CURRENTUSER (Active user)
Component:     Protection
Result\Description:     Protection is not running


As a result, protection is disabled and realtime protection is showing as failed. I have checked several other posts but I can’t seem to narrow down what could be causing the issue. I have attached my GSI log in the hope that someone may be able to give me some advice!

Thanks for the feedback, I have checked and can’t see any dump files. I suspect, a rebuild may well be on the cards for this one!




Any ideas at all? It’ll save me having to rebuild the users PC if anyone can help! :D

According to system event log KES crashes

“The Kaspersky Endpoint Security Service service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 10000 milliseconds: Restart the service.”

Could you please clarify were there any dumps created? If yes, please provide us with one.
