lot of space used in C:\ProgramData\KasperskyLab\adminkit\1093\.working

Hello,
I hope this is the right section.
I'm running out of space on the disk C on the server running Kaspersky Security Center 11.0.0.1131.
I noticed that lot of space is used in C:\ProgramData\KasperskyLab\adminkit\1093\.working
What are those files and how can I free up the space?
Thanks

I have no idea what the normal size would be, but I seem to have the same problem!

The aforementioned directory is 5GB big; and we don't use KSC as WSUS!
  • 4.3 gb = FTServer
  • 500 mb = wusfiles
  • 200 mb = fulltext
Another big junk is this directory: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Security Center\Share\Updates\updates\bin"
Although the AV-Bases should be around 450mb (as detailed in KSC > "Updates and Patches"), the bin directory has the following sub-dirs:
  • 1 gb = kes11_cm56
  • 1 gb = kes11_cm
All-in-all KSC + Kaspersky for Server need about:
  • 4.5 gb = C:\Program Files (x86)\Kaspersky Lab
  • 1.2 gb = C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab
  • 5.4 gb = C:\ProgramData\KasperskyLab
  • plus another 500mb for the SQL DB
This seems a bit much imho!

Any info if these sizes are in fact OK or if there are some old/unneeded cache directories which can just be deleted would be really appreciated!

Thanks,
Markus
I removed an old tasks in Kaspersky Administration Kit, it helped me a little. Information was found here.
Thanks!
This looks very promising indeed...

Unfortunately it doesn't help me: I only have 1 "installation task" besides a bunch of "update tasks" :-\

I even contacted Kaspersky Business Support, but although they responded and told me a few things I should try, nothing worked and no diskspace was gained...

But as Win2k8R2 will be EOL in Jan. '20, I'm just gonna install a new Windows and Kaspersky server and I hope this issue doesn't crop up that soon again :-(

cheers!

Hello!
Do you use KSC server as WSUS?
Thank you!

tbh: the "wusfiles" folder isn't really a concern, with only 500mb

but wth is the FTServer folder?

Install-Packages and Bases (Updates) are located someplace else!
Same here, FTServer folder is taking more than 6GB and seems to grow.

KSC version 11.0.0.1131.
OS is Windows Server 2012 R2 (latest patches).
We have only 26 Devices in KSC.

How much space I have to reserve for this folder?
Will it grow further, is it a bug?
I haven't noticed this folder before upgrading KSC to this version.

Thanks and best regards,
Rapha
