Has anyone encountered this before? Following an upgrade I performed on KSC, getting it up to version 18.104.22.16876, I created a new task to Download Updates to the Admin Repository. When this ran, the C drive on the server hosting the KSC ran out of space. Using a space utility, I found that this directory had grown significantly: “C:\ProgramData\KasperskyLab\adminkit\1093\.working\FTServer”
The KSC is configured to drop off update files onto a different drive entirely. I also do not use it for WSUS. Checking the listed Software Updates in the Security Center, it appears that it has downloaded a large number of OS and third party application updates. I’d like to get rid of these as they server no point and may be causing some of the bloat in that directory. I cannot decline these updates to get rid of them as our license doesn’t support Vulnerability and Patch Management. Attempting to delete them doesn’t appear to do anything. I have tried multiple times and waited a week for “queued” task to proceed to no apparent improvement.
Has anyone else experienced this, or have recommendations on how to clear this up? I might have missed something obvious, or neglected a tool that could be helpful.
Thanks for your time, and have a pleasant day,
