Distribution point: scope - via subnet, not group

Our current Kaspersky structure looks similar to this: https://support.kaspersky.com/KSC/12/en-US/92431.htm

We have one master administration server, medium sites have their own slave administration server. Small sites are directly connected to a local distribution point. Each site (no matter the size) is divided into 2 subgroups: computers and servers.

Now we're wondering, if it would be possible, to only create 2 subgroups (servers and computers) directly under the main administration server and put all clients and servers into their corresponding groups. To do this, we would have to define a specific IP-range/scope for each site so that they will still receive their updates from their local distribution points. So far we haven’t found the option to enable/specify IP-ranges for the distribution points.

Any ideas?
